Depending on the stock 881/886 etc. filament bulbs, they put out 800-1200 lumens. General automotive use of these bulbs are for daylight running lights and fog lamps. The JD LED is advertised at 3000 lumens. That is much more than the standard H1 bulb at around 1440 lumens. The higher end 886 LEDs made for headlights draw around 36 watts and put out 4-5000 lumens. So if the question is "are these better?", then yes. Are they the best? No, but you'll spend more. By more, you have to have external cooling which comes in either fans or braided heat sink flat wire. I have the flat wire stuff on my 855D. Some brands are poor in lifespan before flickering. I do like the regular fit without cooling systems as the mud takes a toll on fans and braided wire. Bottom line, more than double the lumen output for about triple the price. Not bad given getting light that makes a difference.
