6x4 intermittent staring problem

Ok someone please help me with this annoying problem.

Went to start Gator and just got clicking sound of fuel pump, starter didnt turn.

Assumed flat battery so got a new one.

Still didnt start.

Came back an hour later and started first time.

Drove a bit, switched off and wouldnt start for rest of day. Starter not turning.

Next morning starts first time.

Drove a bit, switched off and wouldnt start again! Just the clicking sound.

Its some sort of electrical problem but what??
.

Bad connection from battery to starter solenoid to starter or bad ground.

Or bad solenoid. Or bad starter. If not clicking, then bad key switch or neutral switch or safety switch.

Thank you. I thought it would be one of those things but I guess getting someone to test and eliminate each possibilty is all I can do. I dont understand why temporarily healed itself overnight. I can hardly wait to see if the same thing happens tonight!
