Both, we can install the kit for you or sell the kit to you.

If we install the kit, we recommend you have our ďhand tuning ď service completed at the same time. This will ensure smooth and consistent shifting of the primary clutch.

Our work is warrantied for as long as you own the Gator

Please email JD Clutch Doc for more information at [email protected]

How labour intensive is it to pull the clutch out of my 825i and send it to you? I'm literally on the telephone with John Deere customer support b*tching about the $793 bill from my dealer to replace the primary clutch. $437 for the part and $356 for labour. This machine has only 80 hours and is in immaculate condition (kept in a heated garage, driven by a 70yo woman, etc).

Sigh, still waiting for the 855/865 offerings. Politically stated: So far the situation is diesel regressive. A great kit would be Yuge. Then again, how much would a tuned clutch really benefit a 23 HP deal. Maybe my 855D turbo that's running around 32 HP.

It is super easy. Takes a socket and extension and a universal joint to get the cover off. Don’t mess with taking the wheel off. Hardest part is you might need a specific clutch puller that I bought from JD dealer. But the clutch doc worked on mine after dealer “repaired and cleaned” it. It’s never had a problem since. Runs perfect

Since I had taken the cover off a few times and now know where the bolts are, I would say it took me about an hr to get the cover off, pull the clutch with the puller, put the new one on, and reinstall the belt and cover. All done with machine on ground and wheel on. No need to jack it up and take the wheel off. Just takes some patience the first time.

I emailed the doc back and forth and I just need to send it in. Iím going to order the $33 tool (plus $8 shipping) and send it in when we get the machine back from the Deere dealer. Right now Iím waiting to see if Deere will process a PIP on the primary clutch and cover the repair.

Well... almost...

I got my kit from Brad and Doc on Friday, picked up my JDG11200 puller at JD for $28, (as my machine is a 2011 year)

Got the cover off, went to pull the clutch and it appears that my clutch has been replaced before my ownership with a 2015 year clutch... so back to the drawing board. Have to get a different puller.
