1994 6X4 gas. Any ideas on seatbelts?

I have this 94 6X4 I am restoring. I can actually get a tag for in Tn where I reside. The only item I’m missing is seatbelts. Has anyone ever crafted a set on an old Utility 6X4 ? I’ve though about browsing a local junk yard, but mainly looking for ideas at this point. Lord I’ve spent enough on it but it looks and runs perfect now ! It’s a head turner as you don’t see many of the 1993-1995 original run of the 6X4’s ! Take a look at my progress ! Paid $750 for it out of a barn in central Ga after sitting there rotting away for 14 years !

Do you want original belts or anything that works?
If original you can get the tx or ts belts probably

Edit one: second thing i thought of was replacing the seat with a 3036 seat and belts.
This seat has mounting locations for the belts on the seat itself but i dont know if the bolt locations line up

Edit 2: on the tx gator you can place a seatbelt kit.
Now these belts would require you to make a bracket but theyre a good starting point.

There might be other options but this is as far as i could get right now

Well those are both new seats so I don’t want to go that direction. Thought about mounting the receiving end on the outer side of each seat and then possibly mounting small recoils (male ends) in the center near the parking brake. Reason for that idea is when the belts are not in use, you could tuck the receiving (or female end) behind the seats out of the way. Thought about a female seatbelt buckle that is one of those that is mounted on a semi-rigid cable like my 2002 Jeep Liberty has. I just want to do a lap belt, not a shoulder combo. Heck your only going about 17 mpg. Mainly for show to law enforcement but they would actually work.

It will be interesting to learn how many lap belts only (not shoulder belts) you find at the salvage yard.

There are many sources out there for new and including the link as reference.

It will be more interesting how to mount these as you have the rear fenders, the seat plastic and some other stuff in the way.
Iam guessing its best to make a bracket from the seat base?

I just did a quick search online and came up with a new aftermarket lap belt for a golf cart, for the same purpose you are looking for, for $27.50 @. They attach with a single bolt on each end, one end appeared to be semi-rigid, just not cable.

My 2018 TX Gator never came with any seatbelts. Never considered if there was an option for them. I have generally been under the impression that the traditional work gators did not come with seat belts due to their 20 mph or less speed and no roll bars. Not sure I would want to be strapped into a gator without roll bars that rolls over like my TX 4x2 or the 6x4

Dont need roll bars when you got a sunshade 🙂
I guess noone would ever use seatbelts on a machine that goes at a snails pace but if that needs to be done to register the machine...

I suppose. My Gator TX is registered with state DNR and also the county for use on the gravel roads in my area and seat belts only required for those UTV's that came with them. I don't have a sunshade either. Just the windscreen that came with it.

A sunshade is not going to offer any protection in a rollover. I wouldn't want to be strapped in if a rollover occurred.

Ive seen a gator with a hard cab which rolled over in a ditch once, its still in our back lot.
Should make a picture tomorrow.

Its a god damn miracle the guy is still alive.
Steering axle was pushed up to the seat and the front of the roof is basically where your face is supposed to be.
Didnt ask too much questions but i heard the guy came out good.
