Is it true that Ford Ranger rims fit 825i's?

To find a 15" rim with the JD 5 lug pattern is simply impossible. Is it true that Ford Ranger rims are really a true fit?

Determine the bolt circle dimensions of your Gator and search on line for bolt circle dimensions for various vehicles. It will probably be easier to find the car and truck bolt circle charts than the Gator. Google is your friend.

Okay, I googled and the 825i is 4 1/2Ē five bolt circle. Fords have used this bolt circle for decades on many models, not only the Ranger. A quick google should turn up a bolt circle chart. I expect that all the aftermarket wheel makers publish them.

Hope this helps.

I too have read Ford Ranger wheels will fit the 825, although I have not personally installed the wheels on my 825i.

The questions I would have is the center hole compatibility of the Ranger rim with the 825i and the seating face of the lug hole on Ranger Rims?. Remember if you use the OEM lug bolts they have a chamfered face vs a flat face on some lug nuts.

The 825i alloy wheels have a center hole of 3.19 inches. So make sure the Ranger wheels have the same center hole diameter to fit over the hub, otherwise a spacer/adapter maybe needed?

Check out our forum friend @CaptSeabee posts on his use of trailer wheels on his 855D Gator.

Yes most wheels index on the center hole which makes the wheel rotate concentrically with the axle. More important at higher speeds. Since an 825 has a top speed of 44 MPH and can be modified to go 50, this is a consideration.

Maybe I should have said MANY wheels do. Many wheels index off of the lug nut/bolt taper.
