Edit:

When the bearings come in it will most likely move a bit forward but it seems like its in the right place.

On all fours for the first time in years.Project 2x4 madness-20191107_164446_1573139227816.jpg
The front shocks on these are always too long so they tend to be have a ton of positive camber.
So i ordered some bronco shocks for the front i found really cheap that are 2 inches shorter with the same stroke
Hopefully theyll arrive soon.

Had some silicone hose arrive for the coolant tank.
Since its only going to serve as a fill tank i blocked all other ports and just overflow to air.
Project 2x4 madness-20191109_123622_1573296057668.jpg
The overflow i also drilled through the firewall since the last thing youd want is boiling water on your feet if it did overflow.

Really want to start and drive it at this point since i know that everything has to be taken off for painting later but thats something i cant work around now

And i dug up a ferris hydraulic reservoir for the dry sump.
Ive just slid it into the rail for the bed stand and will drill and tap 2 extra 6mm bolts later when its light again.

So one shock arrived, and this forum should do something about images being posted sideways.

New

I got this one from ebay as new in box for 35 bucks and couldnt really skip on that so i ordered a new new one aswell.
They are from a kawasaki bayou and are 4 cm lower but have the same stroke are progressive and better adjustable.

Again sorry for sideways pictures

Bracket for the coils, needs some detailing and paint.
Project 2x4 madness-20191130_134843_1575114657422.jpg
Radiator Hose work finished and coil wiring just needs some solder.
Project 2x4 madness-20191130_134857_1575114725390.jpg
More new connectors for the signal wire and from the magneto
Project 2x4 madness-20191130_134936_1575114792721.jpg
All hoses on this side connected too, she needs a bath too by the way
Project 2x4 madness-20191130_134953_1575114898133.jpg

And shes filled up with distilled water and oil, i will add some water wetter but we never see anything near freezing temps so distilled water is the way to go

Things are coming together to a point where i can start it.
The rear engine bracket however is just loose and still needs to be welded if i know everything is straight and centered.
With that in mind i will change the bolts holding the plates because i found the regular bolts not a good option since it made adjustments harder.

So i scrounged for 12x25mm carriage bolts and i could not find them in this country or for 100 dollars for 10 stainless steel bolts so i had to order them abroad.
If iam going to be screwed that hard theyd better give me money instead of vice versa
So thatll be in a week or 2 perhaps
