Did you by-chance scrub the new belt with hot water and dish soap? ( Dawn works well) This helps remove mold release agents left by the manufacturing process.
No i didn't. I will try to do that. im hoping that is the problem. I don't know much about the that stuff but i was afraid it's the clutch or the transmission.
a quick way to see if the belt is squealing or making noise it to give it a shot of carb cleaner, dont soak the belt just a few sprays, it wont hurt the belt but if the noise goes away or changes you know its the belt or build up on the pullies then you can take it apart and clean it correctly..
Yea sounds like the Alternator belt needs tightened up.
