We have change the 4WD switch in cab , we found a bearing gone on drive shaft which we have changed.
4WD works on and off , we have read about testing electrics from switch to to Solenoid but it does not say if the readings are not right which part do we replace .
And how do you get to the Solenoid ???
help will be appreciated

Replace the transmission speed sensor, if don't pickup rear end speed on ring gear it will not let front lockup, located front of transmission between engine and transmission.

Hi
all fixed it was the Solenoid ,if you have problems with 4wd take lead off solenoid lest with electric meter , Turn key on press accelerator turn 4wd switch on and check electric is live in Solenoid wire check a few times if power it is the Solenoid .
He took off bonnet lid and radiator clamp on top so you can see Solenoid on left .
Then jack up front this gives enough room to un-screw with spanner ,Finnish off with pliers on top of Solenoid from the top ,take plastic bung off then un-screw the final bit ,then it will just pass the Steering Rack .
Attach new Solenoid to wire and test as above before attaching it ,you should hear it clicking in and out ,
hope this will help other people with same problems.
