I have changed the water pump, flushed the radiator out, I know the pump is pumping water because the top and bottom hoses are warm, but it still is overheating. I've installed a new water pump and thermostat, and the fan has been straight wired to run all the time. Why would it still be overheating after being driven for 10 minutes? Also how do you replace the brakes and where are they located?

Old radiators get calcium and lime build up that clogs them up and reduces their cooling capacity. Try flushing it with a cooling system cleaner. I've gotten away with filling them with white vinegar before, letting it sit a day, then flushing it out. Back in the day we would take them to the local radiator shop and they would acid-clean them. These days it's usually cheaper to just put a new radiator in, if that is indeed the problem.

Also I'd check that there is no dirt or other debris blocking the airflow to and thru the radiator.
