Flip it over so steering goes through hole. If that doesn’t work it could be it was cut wrong at factory

Only pn I see for mat kit listed.

As stated, I did flip it over. Still doesn't fit, and the ribbed surface would be on the bottom. I returned the first one, this is the second one. Even comes in a John Deere sealed box. Odd that all the reviews I read say it fits perfectly. Hmm. I replied to the dealer again, we'll see what they say.

Perhaps send them a picture so they can see the issue first hand.

Good luck!

One would think the dealer would inspect the second one and compare it to the picture you supplied to make sure the second would work.

Hope you're able to get this resolved on the 3rd attempt.

I'm beginning to think this mat fits something else, but I don't know what. All of the BM25000 mats I've seen on other sites look about the same. I don't want to modify the mat to make it fit, that would look terrible and take away some functionality. Maybe I have an odd-ball machine, but everything seems correct.

The best floor mats I’ve found for the money is to use the rubber mat from the farm store that’s used in horse stalls. Just got a section of it and use cardboard or something to create a template. The mats I made for my 825 have been in there over ten years now and still in great shape.

Hope this helps.

Yup. Several times a year I take the gator around the various paths and gather rock. Some are almost to big to pick up and drop into the box. It sure has saved the deck from getting dinged and dented. And the 'ol Yanmar isn't quite as rattley.

I ordered a new OEM #BM25000 mat (twice), and this is what I keep getting. I've never seen a 6X4 with the steering in the center. It doesn't work upside down either. What am I missing?

After looking at the pictues and checking my own gator, you are right. the little house cut-out was cut under the wrong hole.

This thread is somewhat confusing, at least for me. The OP in post #1 inquired about floor board mats for the operator station and others are talking about the bed.

For the operator station, livestock stall mats which are typically >0.5” thick would be overkill and may interfere with throttle travel. Something approximately 1/8” thick would likely be more reasonable. Another option the OP may consider is using a bed liner material.

Around here stall mat only comes in 3/4" thickness, and I have it in the bed.
The little "house" cutout is superfluous because my throttle mechanism hangs from the firewall (for lack of a better term). Not sure if this is indicative of the 6X4 Gators. Anyway, I found this stuff, and it looks like it will work great.
