Going to post here, just as if my other couple posts had been replied to.

On a '99 Gator 4X2 I bought for travel back and forth from our lake cabin to the marina it seemed that a tail light (since we will be coming back after dark often) and a brake light to give all the other drunks a bit of a heads up seem a good idea.

Pulled the front hood/cowl to expose what little there is of the factory wiring. Welded a small tab of metal to the brake travel bracket to mount a simple brake light switch to and wired into the main hot going to key. Piggybacked an additional wire to the out leads of the headlight switch and run both it and output from brake light switch back to rear of machine. Reinstalled cowl and as soon as local parts store gets the metal tail light bracket in I'll weld it to rear cross frame and call this project done.

Sorry, it's all bolted back together and I'm too lazy to pull the front cowl just to snap a few.

Don't have any idea who/what "skim words" is, but the links posted weren't in my original post, nor what I used.
