I’ve contacted my local dealer and lots of other dealers and no one has been willing to help. They just all suggest buying a new gator which I can not afford.

Perhaps check to see if it is still listed at www.jdparts.com

if so, perhaps call one of the online vendors who support this site. They may be more willing to help.
Once armed with JD part number it becomes easier to search.
