Gator 825i Transmission Oil level

The dipstick on the transaxle is also the fill plug. The oil in the trans axle normally stays the same as new oil. Plug is located at top rear of transaxle.
The oil in the engine turns black with more running time. This is due to the carbon buildup during operation that occurs when engine is running. Watch the oil level closely on the engine oil dipstick.
The oil leak is most likely from the engine
Check oil filter to make sure it is not leaking at the base
Check oil psi sending unit
Remove skid plate from beneath the engine to get a better look at where the oil is leaking.

Please elaborate on Check oil psi sending unit.
On the front side of the engine block, above the oil filter and to the side of the filter is the oil psi sensor. It has 2 wires going to it and the sensor screws into the oil gallery of the engine block.
The sensor has a tendency to leak. If it appears to be leaking from the sensor: unplug the wire, unscrew the sensor and replace it with a new one. I use teflon tape on the sensor threads to prevent leaking around the threads. Plug in the wire and you should be ready to go.
