I am in the study of buying an enclosed 825i

I see there is some discussion about heaters. I came across the Curtis heater which is after market and made for the Gator. There is one utube video of the same, but I have seen no other reviews. This company also makes heaters for tractor. It is about $500 cheaper than from Mother Deer and seems to be more built in than the glove box model?

Does anyone on the forum have an experience with this.

Curtis Heater

When I purchased my JD Gator 825i, I ordered a number of accessories. The dealer suggested the Curtis Heater over the JD Heater because of the cost difference and also mentioned that it took up less room in the gove box. So I had it installed in my Gator. It puts out more than enough heat within my JD Cab, not the glass expensive one.

I have a JD 4310 Tractor, also equipped with a Curtis heater and that heater really puts out heat when I'm snowblowing and it's cold outside my 4310 with the Curis Cab installed.

Thanks Fred, that is very helpful! I live two block from Lake Michigan and we get extreme cold.

Curtis heater

I purchased one from local jd dealer. Installed my self in about 4 hours. My setup has a round defroster in the dash not the hood, works great. Also has 2passenger floor vents. Heard bad stories about air but I had no issue. B
