I see in the parts book where an alternator is mounted in a 6x4 with the FD620D engine. Does anyone have this setup? How does it run off the engine? I know it's belt driven, but from where? I found a used one and would like to install it, but need a little info first.

I figured out that there is a half pulley and shims that bolt to the flywheel, and there are cutouts already in the shroud for the belt. This will be fun, I can tell. Will provide updates and pics when I get started. I still need to source mounting and adjustment brackets. I know JD sells them, but GEEZ!
