My 2011 825i also sticks the bed in the up position. The pump/motor does run while the bed is stuck in the up position but the bed doesn’t move. JD advise is to shake it, but I can’t shake it hard enough I guess. If I crank it and motor around the back forty it will lower for me while the Gator is going through its paces. That makes it sound like a mechanical issue to me.

That’s all I have now, but I will get into it and figure it out later.

Have you checked or cleaned the electrical connections ?

Update: As randomly as it happened, it started working again. I’ll just cycle it a few times before raising it all the way and see if that helps. There must be a valve sticking.

Good news ! Did you say that you checked electrical connections to the solenoid?
