regarding a specific tire fitting a specific width, I’d liketo direct you to the manufacture we store and their published specifications. Recommend wheel widths are always published along with specific tire size. Don’t expect uniformity in dimensions across manufacturers just because they have the same size printed on the side of them. A key dimension you may be interested in is “load radius”. The currency in load radius between existing tire and new will be the delta in clearance.
