The RSX was purchased with a 12 Mo extended warrantee. I took delivery 12-07-12.
Thinking the warrantee would take me into June of next year. But no. It seems the warrantee started the delivery day and it was "double covered" the first six months, and ends 12-07-13!!
What part of EXTENDED did I miss?
The new motor was covered under the extended warrantee (I think) and ran fine from the shop to the trailer where it was hauled to the consignment yard for sale.
Deceptive business practices, inferior product, and sales and support staff don't instill confidence in the product. For my money I will go with made Polaris.

My dealer made it clear that my 2 year Extended Warrantee, ended
2 years from the purchase date. I think you had a poor dealer.

I guess that is a issue when dealer really wants to sell tractors.

You may be happier, if you look around and find a Polaris dealer
who is really "into" side x sides. Not just a motorcycle shop
that sells side x sides too.

Wonder how Polaris will handle a blown engine? I know the
local reps reject claims when ever they can. Pretty bad company
practices too.

Typically when a dealer says "buy the 1 year warranty", 6 mos. of it is the factory warranty, and the other 6 is the extended warranty giving you a total of 12 months coverage.

I always worked under that impression on any extended warranty. Not an additional year, just the balance of a year.
