Here's what I'm workin with,
Black Textile Organism Font Art

Any guesses as to what that number is? I believe its either the vin or the model number.

Its sputtering out which makes me 99%it needs a new coil which I could use a part number for. I'm also beginning to have problems with it over heating so I'm hopping to get a part number for a new water pump. Unless someone suggests otherwise which believe me your help will be very much appreciated.

After that I wouldn't mind doing some performance upgrades as well. Its a great machine and I'd like to put her in position so where the best years are yet to come for the machine.

THanks,
cat

The last six digits appear to be 060102, which would make this a 2001Year Model 6x4 however; Deere does not use the Date of Manufacture as a reference for parts or accessories. This number is referred as the PIN or Product Identification Number which is used when purchasing parts or accessories.

Please read below.

Welcome,

Feel free to post often, photos are always appreciated !

As a FYI, when sourcing parts or manuals, Deere does not reference the DOM or Date of Manufacture, they use the PIN or Product Identification Number.

Depending on the model, the PIN can be found on a placard in front of right rear tire on the frame OR stamped on the frame under the passenger seat and sometimes on a label near the rear hitch.

If you are curious as to the DOM of your Gator, look under John Deere Gator Forums, click on the first discussion area What Year Is My Gator then click on Model Year Lookup Table If your PIN is not there see your dealership.

There are several online Deere part warehouses such as Green Farm Parts (use code GTT for discount) or Green Parts Store (use code TTWT for free shipping). These online companies can often provide better pricing than local dealerships.

Additionally, please check out @SuperATV for aftermarket accessories for your Gator:

Well here you go it appears to be a 2003. Coil M97349 M122029 AM120732 depending on the serial number of machine. Look under your passenger seat there should be a plate on the frame. Water Pump AM134585. No guarantees just a guide of some numbers that should be accurate. Good bad guy hope it helps

The Technical manual can be very valuable when performing diagnostics and understanding how the various systems function. It typically includes wiring diagrams that can be of value when dealing with electrical systems.

The technical manual (AKA… workshop manual can be found in Brad’s link above.
