Lubing a clutch video

I had never seen anyone recommend this.

I've read on other forums of people lubricating their primary similar to what's shown in this video. Of course the variety of lubricants is endless, but a dry film lubricant does have merits. If nothing else it is an easy way to diagnosis if the primary is the root cause of shifting difficulties. If lubricant restores proper operation, the owner can decide what action to take next.

I think the manufacturers intended the clutch to be run dry. If the correct dry lubricant is used it probably helps at least until the lubricant gets slung off. Using something oily should work as well but will attract and hold dirt possibly making the problem worse in the long run.

TEAM clutches are designed to be run dry. I would also advise against using a "dry" lubricant as well.
