I have what looks like an older 4x2 gator. I have a vin number. It has very low power and would like to order an engine rebuild kit but cant find my engine type or year and model of the gator. I have attached two pics. I think the vin is W04X2SD001144. Kawasaki sticker is the engine.

I'm working on a JD Gator TS. It has round headlights. It has a Kawasaki FE290D-BS28 engine. Warning, all FE290D engines are not all alike. I ordered a gasket/rebuild kit, parts for a different engine arrived. Mine had a 78mm bore, piston actually measured 77.52mm in diameter. The kit I received was for a 84.55mm piston, big difference.
The sticker on the rear of the chassis is "E/NO FE290D42789." I believe that translates to a 2004 gator ts. There is nothing wrong with the piston or rings. Where can I find a gasket kit for this model? I've tried ebay and amazon. Next I'll have to try a local dealer,
