Hi Y'all,

I just got a '15 Gator TX 4x2 that had a engine fire (was told that it was caused by backfire through the carb). Best that I can see right now is that all the plastic/rubber cables, wires, etc. was melted. Not sure what the condition of the engine is yet. If need be, I can/will change out the engine. Everything else looks good. Am trying to find a service manual/parts catalog, but no luck yet. I may have bitten off more than I can chew, but going to try to get it back to running. So, I'm going need all the help I can get.

Welcome !! Sounds as if your free time is accounted for at least in the near future. I'd start looking for a tech manual on Ebay - you might also search this site for some help. I bought a tech manual from a guy that had been dubbed onto a CD for $10 so they're out there. A Google search for it might prove to be successful. Good luck. Craig
