has anyone found a lift kit for the new gator i am planning 30" zillas but i think a 2" or 3" lift will allow for that extra bit of clearance to not hang up on ruts when comming out a a hole

There is not a lift kit out yet. I have offered my RSX to several of the aftermarket companies to use for R&D. I am running 29.5 Outlaw 2s with no problems what so ever so far. I know one person in Florida running 30" Silverbacks and one person here running 30" Interco tires.

i contacted high lifter and they said sometimw next year they should be coming out with a lift idk how big but my guess if they do it will only be 2"
my local JD service manger said to adjust the preload on all 4 shocks about an inch and that would keep my tires from rubbing at akward angles

I did not offer mine to HL, but I bet you are right. I offered mine to S3. I believe it would be easy to do a a arm replacement raked lift, because how the rear is. Then they would have to get aftermarket axles thou.

The guys at magnum offroad were kind enough to warn me that putting a bracket lift on these or adjusting the preload too high could possible put the upper balljoints in a bind and break the upper control arms on the rear. Just FYI

Thanks for the advice TreeShaker, dang that sucks!!!!!!!

I think a 4"-8" a arm lift would look awesome on this thing. I have been trying to get the boys at S3 to take my RSX and build one. If you look at the rear a arms, they mount at an angle and then turn to make them somewhat straight to the side.

i figured that the bracket lift would not work after looking at the rear end there is a custom atv shop locally and he looked at my rsx and told me a 4" would be 3500 with out axels so i will be waitng on some one to come out with one he was a bit too high

I talked to Gorilla at Mud Nats and they laughed at me when I asked about the Gator. It is not making me feel very confident about the future of aftermarket support.

It will just take some time. Gorilla is more into Can Am, cause they sponser them. Its coming, slowly but surely. I would bet that SuperATV or Highlifter will come out with something.

i looked at there web site for the lift $139.95 for a 2" lift and it only lifts the front the rear is don by cranking on the the schocks. i am a little ifey on this but, i am gonna give it a try and will let you guys know if it is worth it.

Ahh I see that now. The only thing bad about cranking the shocks is you will stiffin the ride in the rear. It would be cool if Highlifter came out with some lift springs, which dont ride to bad, but they are not as soft as stock.

I bought the lift the first one that came the bolt hole did not even come close to lining up so I sent it back for a refund waited a month or so and tried again got it and put it on no prob but it only lifts the front and cranking the back shocks mad it ride like crap I think a bit more R&D needs to be invested and 139 buck for a front lift is high so in short I took it off and its sitting here and home and I now run 30" zillas and no lift

There are some boys in Longview Texas that are making an 8" lift for the RSX. It runs $3500 and they are running 34" terminator tires on it. Go check them out on facebook. The shop is called Solid Metal WRX. I plan on taking mine out there tomorrow. They also have a cage for the RSX.

I will have to check that out. I have always said if I had a welder and some material, I would make one.
