Seems like these would brake if plowing too hard, also not much weight seems to be on the front tires, no I havent checked the air pressure in any of the 6 tires. Booth sided are ripped, what style or model is a 98 trail gator 6x4 considered? Manually add grease before installing?

The heavy duty shock upgrade for $180, is it worth it, most people say the feel a difference, mostly with steering

Probably feel a difference because their old shocks were worn out.

Heavy duty shocks can simply mean the springs can carry more weight. Application would be if front snow plow is used. Make certain you understand what is implied by HD and decide if the cost is worth it to you.

Good luck any report back once installed.

“Was hoping maybe it would add more wheel pressure“

Sorry, but I don’t understand what you mean be this. Can you elaborate?

I put the JD heavy duty front shocks on my 94 6x4. What a difference for the better. Rides much better and handles better. Those orig shocks were way undersized in my opinion. It’s a 15 min install and well worth the price!!
