I have a 1998 6X4 Gator and am looking to change the transmission oil it calls for J20C I cannot seem to find it also does anyone know the capacity of the transmission /

Your local dealer doesn't carry a suitable lubricant?

Hy Gard

Perhaps someone with the operator's manual will chime in on the capacity.

Just talked to the local dealer said that John Deere Hy-Gard TY6354 is the substitute for J20D I think she said the capacity is 1.5 quarts I am getting a gallon thanks for your help

Wal-Mart, Costco, etc. sell hydraulic oil that meets the J20C spec and many others. Most all of them on Amazon as well. Our local Redneck Costco (North 40) sells a nice product for around $50 per 5 gallons.
