I was doing some work with my son yesterday and he backed into a spot and said the engine just turned off on its own before he could do it. The battery was from 2020 so I figured Id start there. That wasn't the issue. When I turn the key in the ignition, nothing lights up on the dash. There is power going to aftermarket lights though. I was going to take a look in the fuse box next but was wondering if anyone encountered this and know what I should look for. Its a 2020 835M, I service it regularly and she runs fine. We did go through some water but not any more than I've been through before.. that's the only thing I can think that could have been a cause.
EDIT: Is there a diagram of the fuse box somewhere online that someone has a link to. I cant seem to locate one. I checked all the smaller fuses and found 2 bad ones ( circled ) I don't know how to check if the larger ones are ok. Heading to the store to buy replacements/

Thanks for the link. So after replacing both burnt out fuses, she started up just fine. It Was idling for a few minutes and then shut down again. I took a look at those 2 fuses again and it was the 20a that burnt out again. I believe its the Key Switch Power. I replaced it again and so far so good. Ran it around a bunch without any issues.

If the Gator isn’t getting power to the dash/gages, I would lean toward t main ground circuit, which returns current to the battery. I personally have an 825i, but am currently doing an engine swap on my buddies 835M. On the forward engine mount bracket, there is a chassis ground point/bolt. That would be my initial focus, ensure there’s a clean tight connection.
